Any reaction about this news that that Facebook will be shutting down on 15 March 2011?
I don’t really believe on this news. I don’t play farmville But gessh my pictures that I have save there?

I’m just waiting for something like this to appear on the onion. That site gets people all the time with “it-could-almost-be-true” headlines who aren’t familiar with what the site is.
I do not mean to bring in politics, especially because sitepoint is an international forum, but in the states (usa) the government bailed out multiple companies, gave them money collected through taxes, that was supposed to cover losses and prevent bankruptcy.
Sorry for italicising supposed, it is just that some companies used the money to pay off bonus to employees, which may seem like they did not need it or it was not used to cover losses. However, in their defense and to be fair, endowing those bonuses was a legal obligation through contract what they had to do.
Anyway, back on topic, why did this happen? Because these companies were too big, or important to society, to fail.
Facebook connects and 500 million people to each-other, advertising, games, apps, companies, etc. It has integrated itself as a seeming necessity in life.
I believe that many will agree when I say that Facebook better fits the definition of too big or important to fail than those companies.
I open the link but there was nothing written and I am 100% sure that its rumor,fake and a technique to get traffic for site.
Pure rumors from people who either not like Facebook or they are not getting enough from Facebook and this is not possible until and unless an asteroid struck the earth.
That’s due to happen on 14 March 2011 so no one will be around to notice what happens the day after.

Y do FB want to close??? there are lots and lots of companies are in Q to buy Face Book… Then why they want to Shut Down??? Hope This would be a very big Rumor of the year!!!
