I’ve created a shortened link in Bitly for a Twitter post - but when it’s clicked on it keeps turning up a “This Site Could Not Be Reached” t.co’s server DNS address could not be found.
I friend in other country created a link to the site I want to reference, and it worked just fine for them.
I figure I’ve got a setting wrong or my twitter site has been flagged for something.
Can anyone help me sort this thanks
You should not need to shorten links for Tweets. Twitter does this automatically for you. Even though it may show the full url, it is actually shortened.
Thank you Sam - it appears my issue was some DNS settings inside my Control Panel - which when addressed solved the issue.
Appreciate knowing that Twitter takes care of long links as well - thank you for that.
