Doreo: My First and Probably Last host!

Hi, I have excellent experience with Doreo.

I was using Blogger for all my blogs but when I started experiencing problems with design breaking in Internet Explorer, I decided to move to Wordpress.

I started looking for host. The first one I found was Host Gator. I was impressed when I saw their $4.95 per month price. When I searched some more, I found that it was only if I paid for 3 years once, something I could not afford.

I am a regular reader of Daily Blog Tips and Daniel, owner of Daily Blog Tips had recommended Doreo. ( Read his post about Doreo dailyblogtips.com/doreo-hosting/ )

I looked no further and went on to buy hosting there. I was impressed from the word go. Customer care was excellent! I asked about 15 questions within first 30 minutes of purchase and they answered them all! Never showed any anger or anything.

They do not offer unlimited space but 2 GB storage and 60 GB bandwidth is enough for any small blog at $6.99 per month! Their servers are very fast. They had 99.98% uptime last year.

Added to this, there is also a 90 day money back guarantee (which I will not use!)

If you want to buy hosting, consider Doreo next time.

That’s quite a nice review. How long have you been using them so far?

Just 1 month.

That’s not a bad thing. One month is 30 times better than the many 1 day reviews I’ve read over time. Do give us an update from time to time!

I had some time out problems because their Firewall blocked my blog’s request. But Customer Care fixed it.

I am fully satisfied with Doreo Hosting.

It is the best host I have ever used. Good Support and nice respond time.

Nice to hear that, you like your host. Generally, the customers post the reviews only when they have bad time with the host.

You still with the same host? is every thing working fine?

Yes. Everything is fine.

I found this while researching Doreo.

I’ve been with Doreo now for goodness - almost three years? They’re fantastic. When things aren’t going good they’re quick to act on it, repair mistakes you make (groan!), and are generally good -people.-

I was with a fairly cheap host to begin with, but its payment method didn’t have security features so I refused to renew with them. I had also found many people weren’t getting my e-mails as my host’s IP was considered a spammer.

So I began to look around to move. I met Frank, from Doreo, when I was looking for some help with the phpBB forum code. He used to work with the project, and while I am not certain if Doreo still hosts phpBB, I know they used to.

I went with him simply because ‘he was nice.’ And I’ve never regretted it.

The price is reasonable. The anti-spam methods on e-mail are fantastic. Frank is always available - an e-mail or MSN conversation away.

When my website suddenly began having traffic problems, he quickly looked into it, discovered why. A few days later (and only days, as I said it didn’t matter), I was moved onto a more stable server.

When I lost my job, back in 2005 and then the next one in 2009, Frank didn’t suspend my account when I couldn’t pay. He said ‘whenever.’ And let me tell you, it felt good to pay Doreo when I could, because they were so nice.

I’m not a great coder so I break things a lot, and it’s just an e-mail away and I’m restored, and my mistakes can be swept away (I wish Doreo sold coding talents, rofl).

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They’re awesome!
