i really like the design of this site and want to do something similar for a site I need to build.
It appears that it’s done in Flash so (insert stupid question here) would I be just completely shooting myself in the foot in terms of wanting an SEO friendly site like this and one that is viewable on mobile devices? I suspect so, but i’d like to confirm my suspicions.
Well, Flash doesn’t work on iOS devices, so that’s a big no-no to start with.
And as far as I know, Google et al still aren’t too good at indexing Flash.
Then again, a lot of the animations and stuff on that site can be done with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which will work fine on mobile devices, and as long as it’s all coded properly could be very SEO friendly.
