Does Google use EXIF data from pictures as a ranking factor?

How would EXIF data help in ranking, do you think? What would it tell Google about your content?

I always remove EXIF data from my images, as it helps to reduce the file size by a few kb. That’s not much, but if you have a number of images on a page, it soon mounts up.

Yes number of images are there. I will remove it as soon as possible.
Thank you. Actually, i read article and this information are coming up like its help to ranking factor but how that not mention.

I suppose the thinking might be that if the EXIF data contains coordinates showing the location where the photo was taken, that might give Google some added information. However, not all cameras/devices record that information, and whether or not Google would be able to extract it, I don’t know. If the location of the image is important, then the information should be conveyed in the alt text or a caption.

Google makes no mention of EXIF data in its image publishing guidelines, so clearly it is not important.
