My desktop processor cooling fan creating a noise. How can i solve it?
Does the fan need cleaning, there may be some dust clogging it up
Dust is the usual culprit, use a small soft brush and a vacuum cleaner to remove the crud.
Paintbrushes are good, failing that mother or the girlfriend should have a suitable makeup brush.
Don’t blow… you will regret it and odds are the dust is compacted and most of it wont budge anyhow.
Don’t let the fan spin up to speed with the vacuum cleaner, the voltage induced can sometimes fry the motherboard.
