Chat is not opening from current message or from last message

I create a chat box in the dashboard its working fine but the problem is when I click on it to see any message then chat is open from the top or you can say it shows an older message and I have to scroll down to see the new messages but I want that whenever I open any chat then it open from the bottom like WhatsApp or any other chat applications open.

This is for a web application, not a mobile app.

Please help me with this.
