Looking for good “comments” code to use for many visitor comments pages on my site. Anyone know a good code to use (that I can put in my Dreamweaver site) - especially that will allow visitors to upload an avatar or pic to go along with their comments? Thanks.
There are various scripts out there, such as CubeScripts and [URL=“http://disqus.com/”]Disqus.
But I was looking for something free if possible, rather than pay for one like Cubescripts. And Disqus looks like you have to login into it, in addition to separate login on my site (I just tried it on CNN’s site). Any other options that you know? I was thinking Facebook plugin, but don’t really want Facebook to have so much access to my site. Thanks.
I’m not quite sure what you have in mind. If you’re looking for some kind of forum software, then phpBB is very popular. (I’ve played about with it, but never used it on an actual site.)
I LOVE this site. Never used it, but I visit a site that has it and it’s just fantastic, user end wise.
