I use directory critic to make sure Iâm only getting back links from high PR article and directory sites. I also send emails to complimentary businesses to exchange.
forum sigs,dmoz, and blog commenting
I donât believe in one linking method which can be called the best. If you will use e. g. only article marketing or your links will come from forums only it will look very unnatural. So I recommend to create backlinks using as many sources as possible.
Yes variety of links is key. But link exchanging with higher pr sites is one of the best.
well using blogs works for me either, and article submission as well. link trades works well too.
By link exchanging do you mean the same thing as reciprocal links?

Itâs not always link baiting! Thereâs a difference between âwriting good contentâ and âlink baitingâ.
For one, link baiting is usually not useful content. Itâs controversial / funny and often panders to egos of people elsewhere, often for a short period of time. A useful article generally takes time to get links (as all articles should), and is timeless.
I use Linkvana, It is way best, it gets quality one way links by the thousand
It is expensive but it sure does the job, it works like crazy
I used to use Uique article Wizard and that worked pretty well but it is an awful lot of work each time, whereas Linkvana is no work at all so you tend to use it more often
Remember, you get what you pay for, rathewr mthan pay for âpaid submissionsâ I go for this, it is cheaper and better in the end
I think the easiest, free and legit way to get high quality and natural links is to write excellent, useful, information rich content and add it in your site. People finding that content useful will link to your site for free.
^yes definitely that would count natural linking to good and related websites have always been the best linking method as well.
Link exchanges take a lot of time if you are doing it for free. There is the time needed to track down worthy sites and the time needed to check out sites that track you down. Reciprocal linking didnât help our site out much at all. 3 Way link exchange helped a bit more, but again was a hassle.
I used a coupe free link communites - like LinkShare and I totally suggest avoiding those. I would say that about 3% of the requests I got were relevant and/or quality sites. A really poor ratio there.
So far the best has been blogging and articles for us.
Terry Dean published a nice review of the link building strategies, with their strong and weak points here - http://www.terrydean.org/link-building-strategies-review-for-2009/
And I agree to MarbleHost.com - there is no ULTIMATE link building method. Use different, be reasonable, be smart, think out of the box.
hey Besttools, thanks for the article!
My best results have been from:
One-way links from High PR sites that have similar KW
comments on Do follow Blogs
Siggy links from Do follow forums
Profile Pages at various web portals like âYeddaâ or âCWAnswersâ or âNaymzâ
Articles in various Article Directories.
Directory links
i thinks the Forum posting and Blog Commenting is the best way to get Back Links to your sites.
Hi djemcee,
How can I see whether they are do follow or no follow?
What are these? Or can you give me an example so that I can explore myself?
Cheers,

I think itâs âwriting good quality contentsâ for others to be attracted and âlink baitâ you.
