Guest posting is a great way to build backlinks, reach a new audience, and establish yourself as an expert in your field. But with so many guest post sites out there, how do you know which ones are the best?

In what sense do you mean “best”? One which will reach the widest audience, one which will help you develop a good reputation or some other measure?

Build backlinks: Yes, but quality? No.
Reach a new audience: Maybe. Most likely not, because the people swimming around these sites is basically 90% other guest posters in the echo chamber, not really your audience.
Establish yourself as an expert in your field: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. No.
I have to agree with this.
I have nothing against those trying to make a living and offering guest posting services, but as with a lot of link building techniques, using guest posting services typically does very little for SEO and can sometimes even hurt your SEO.

Unfortunately People go for quantity instead of quality backlinks. People can take some great advantage by creating genuine content and promoting that on different mediums like social media channels and other noticeable websites which others can highlight and create a ranking factors.
Sadly, we are still running behind the same old black-hat techniques. I am not saying that 100% black hat is used. out of 100 backlinks 10 can be natural and genuinely created but the rest 90 backlinks kill all the impact of quality created by those 10 backlinks
because quality isn’t cheap, takes time, not that easy, so people go for cheaper, instant, and the easiest one.
