I am a bit frustrated because I cannot find any dofollow forums and blogs, I searched google and I found lists but whenever I check those sites they are nofollow. Is there any software out there that someone can recommend that can scan to find dofollow forums and blogs within certain topics? Not trying to spam but would like to post in places were I can get backlinks from as well.
I checked my competitors their backlinks come from non-relevant websites that are basically part of farms.
I know that you don’t have intention to spam, but there are some blogs out there that have the dofollow attribute but are grouped along with those comments that don’t contribute anything to the post, i.e. spam. You wouldn’t want to be grouped with with those links. Anyway, to answer your question, there’s a site that can help you find blogs with specific comment engines. Search for “dropmylink” on Google, and you’ll see it on the top results. It helps you add the footprints that you would need in searching for different types of blogs.
Many forums these days aren’t do follow because it encourages spam because people just want the links, and many of those forums are highly ranked. The only one I know of is digitalpoint but for that you have to be a premium member.
Well most of the lists are not fresh thats why its not easy to find them, there are some people who finds do follow links and sell them as a list monthly…
You are right. It is really hard to find websites with dofollow links. But there are many forums with this facility. Digitalpoint forums, zymic forums etc.
For do follow links focus on Web 2.0 sites and article submissions. You will get high quality back links from Web 2.0 sites and article directories. There are many Web 2.0 and article directories from where you can get huge number of back links for your website.
I wouldn’t avoid nofollow blogs and forums altogether if I were you. I am assuming Google adds some value to them. I have many nofollow links from blogs and forums showing up in my Google webmasters tools as links to my site. I didn’t post with the the intentions of getting links, but they are their nonetheless.
I assume with everyone now using nofollow, Google will eventually change things up.
Awesome thanks for the website suggestion it has been very helpful. I just want to create some additional backlinks to the website. I been submitting my website to general and niche web directories. Just difficult finding any sites that are dofollow.
Understandable about the issue with spam. I like how sitepoint works with it, where you have to be a certain member in order to get the “nofollow” attribute removed from your links. I don’t avoid nofollow I just can’t make it all nofollow.

I have been searching for such tool in the past and I found soething which can hopefully help you. However, bear in ming normal/human internet behaviours and do not spam forums and blogs as othet people have already said.

You can do article writing and submission. There are lots of do follow article directories. You can also do blog posting and build links from blogs. These links are also do follow. If you want to find do follow blogs then you can use a software especially for do follow blog finding. You can download this software from fastblogfinder.com
I agree with the poster above who said do not ignore nofollow links. It would be unnatural for a site to only have dofollow especially since most are not going nofollow do to the amount of spam it attracts.
I have do follow forums & blog lists. If admin permits me i would able to share them.
Pm me the list and I will see if it is worth it to add them to our resources list. Still, people need to understand that posting for the sake of posting helps…0 no matter if the forum/blog is do-follow or not
You should stop building links via forums and blog comments. They mean close to nothing. Just generate good content - it will attract traffic on its own.
Why would that be unnatural? All it means is that the website owner hasn’t been spamming forums and blogs left, right and centre. I’m pretty certain that most (if not all) of the links to some of my websites are "follow"able links, precisely because they are all organic, natural and relevant. Unless you’ve got any evidence to the contrary, I would be staggered if Google penalises sites that don’t have nofollow links.
