Anyone else using epassport card from Digital River to receive payments?

My software business uses Shareit (Digital River) for payment processing. They offer as an alternative for receiving payment, a Digital River Visa Electron card, which is actually issued by a company called ePassporte. Unfortunately for me, Visa just suspended ePassporte, meaning that I am unable to withdraw a considerable amount of money that I have in my ePassporte account. I contacted Shareit (Digital River) about the matter, and their response was to deny all responsibility, claiming that it was between me and ePassporte. This, despite the fact that the card was and is advertised on their website as the “Digital River Visa Electron Card”, and they obtained the card for me. Is anyone else in the same situation? Maybe if enough of us complain to Digital River about this, they will see that it is not in their best interest to shirk their responsibility in this matter, and they will help us get our money.

I find this to be especially upsetting, because I never got paid for a month of freelance work for Devshed.com under similar circumstances. They insisted on paying only via PayPal, and then PayPal refused to release the money to me claiming that it was a “security risk” to let me have my own money.

Hi, I used paytoo since months and have never got any problems, they transfert my money in seconds.

Have fun…

I guess as soon as Digital River sent out your money to ePassporte and they put them on the account of your card, Digital River is truly no longer responsible. It’s ePassporte and Visa itself who dumped you. You should ***** at them.

Hopefully, this suspension will not last long.
