I own an Online Handicraft store and I need to optimize this Search Engine friendly. Can anyone suggest me an affordable SEO package??
Yup.
The Internet. =D
If you know programming, you’re better off doing a little bit of research and doing it yourself.
If you don’t, then you do have a find a good SEO person.
I don’t know any that I would recommend, but I do want to give you a few warnings:
- If they can’t explain what they’ll do in at least general terms (they mention a secret formula, etc), red flags should be going up.
- If they have you spending money to buy links on websites (that aren’t through an advertiser like Google Adsense), red flags should go up. If they have you do this at all, warning flags should at least go up though, because that’s not SEO, it’s marketing.
- If they add text to a page that you can’t see in an internet browser, red flags should go up.
Those are just a few of the bigger, easier to spot warnings when dealing with SEO companies.
Good luck.
I would say, nowadays every website owner should know the basics of SEO. They must know how a website would be optimized and than marketed. If you know the basics, you may outsource this work to freelancers and get it done. You can monitor their work progress and design a strategy. This will you will stay on the top of everything and will learn too.
Its a better option rather than getting a SEO services from a unknown company with no credibility. But still, if you feel you are looking for a SEO company, here is one i have been with, they offer good services at reasonable price. http://www.outsourceseocontentwriting.com/
If you know the basics, you must apply and see the results. Dont worry about the results, if the results would not be good, you may seek for guidance in this forum. We would be glad to assist you. Unless, you will give it a try, you would never learn nor you should be sure, if you really know what you should.
It doesn’t effect your site reputation but ya in order to enhance, you got to start SEO.
Really though, if you manage a business it isn’t a bad idea to get someone to do SEO for you, do to time. It is a good idea to KNOW how to do it though.
That SEO doesn’t look too bad, but a few things do throw up red flags:
- Directory Submissions
- Social Bookmarking Submissions
The two of those are pretty pointless. 250 directory submissions… that’s a lot of spam. For niche topics, there aren’t 250 directories to submit to, so it means they likely have some automated thing which just spams as many as they can find. That’s something you want to avoid.
The Social Bookmarking thing is similar. It means they’ll likely “Digg” or likewise your stuff, which isn’t a bad thing in and of itself, but if they’re saying they will always do 100 of them, it means there will be a lot of spammy stuff, which can actually hurt you (in more than just SEO).
Also, the fact that they leave this one out of their starter package:
- Add Google Analytics to Website
when it’s super easy to add to most sites is a bit odd.
The weekly ranking reports they send you should show the advancement of your website. That is pretty good proof - BUT - I would also advise that you make sure they are not employing any Black Hat techniques. You may forget about this if you see great results but if they are doing unethical means to get your site up there, then those results won’t last for long. Hate to be a pessimist but you have to pay attention
I would recommend you do not go for cheapest because Package might be cheap but the results will be costly for you.
First no one thing SEO is not a gurantee process so don’t think for Guranteed SEO service can help you. But you can chack many SEO service provider compare the price and know the fact for choosing and want for good result and keep some passions so you could enjoy at top of search engine
Asking for affordable SEO is kind of like asking for an affordable race car.
You want an SEO that can perform … those who can - know it - and will be able to prove it - Bottom Line?
Good SEO’s are going to want compensation that matches their skill set.
Food for thought …
You can do it your self by reading and taking help from the internet, its quite easy so there is no need to hire some SEO specialist.
