In Photoshop 7 When you make a text box, (horizontal type tool), it always seems to put the text at the very top of the box. Is there any way of getting the text to be centred vertically please ?
Exactly the reason why I upgraded to CS4 Your still using 7??
If anyone does know a way to do it, please let me know.
Any help much appreciated.
Dez.
Try Toggle the ‘Character and Paragraph palettes’ and set the baseline shift it won’t be perfect but it may help.
Many thanks xhtmlcoder, tried that, but can’t find anything for baseline shift ?
Do a search for the word “baseline” in the Adobe Photoshop help files, i.e. F1, it should come up with the procedures needed to alter it.
Many thanks, that solved it.
Much appreciated
No problem, we finally got there.
Yep, the funny thing is, is that I tried the help section many times, but was searching for the wrong words !
