Query Faster with SQL on the Command Line

Although several GUI tools exist for managing your SQL databases, there are times when using the command line is either necessary or even desired. In this course, you’ll be able to learn why command line manipulation of your databases can make working with your data quick and easy.

You’ll learn to create and edit tables as well as create, edit, and remove records. Searching for and updating records will also be on the agenda, and by the time you’re through the course, you’ll have all of the basic understanding of MySQL command line operations that you need to manage your databases without a GUI aid, that way you’ll have the knowledge if you need it — or if you just prefer command lines!
