About the course
Early in 2010 a forum staff member suggested to me that we do something to tap into the vast wealth of knowledge lying dormant in the SitePoint community. The answer was obvious – a collaborative book. A committee was formed and the project was up and running before I had time to stop and think. A year and a lot of work later, I am proud to be able to launch the fruits of our labor – a collaborative book by the SitePoint Community.

John first learnt to program on a Commodore Pet, and now programs bespoke PHP websites for a variety of clients as a freelance web designer. His company, Bordaline Web Design, has won awards for helping a variety of local causes.
Ursula Comeau
Ursula, is a self-taught Wordpress addict who loves everything to do with WordPress, blogging, and social media. She has a strong background in service, support, and technical training.
Sherry Curry
Sheryl is an editor of the review column for the journal Louisiana Libraries and co-author of Newbery & Caldecott Awards.. Sherry has written articles and book chapters on a variety of topics, as well as presented at national conferences.
Alexander Dawson
Alexander Dawson is an award winning, self-taught, freelance web professional, writer, published author and recreational software developer from Brighton (UK). He owns and runs a conustancy firm called HiTechy.
