Integrating AdMob in React Native and Expo

Google AdMob is one way to install ads into any mobile application in in order to monetize it. Unfortunately, installing and configuring AdMob in bare React Native is a cumbersome process. But it’s relatively simple to install when using a toolchain like Expo.

In this tutorial, we’ll be installing AdMob in our bare React Native project, as well as in our Expo project.

We’ll go through each step in detail on how to configure AdMob in iOS, as well as how to configure it on Android.

Then we’ll also install the app on our Android Emulator or iOS Simulator as well as a physical Android phone or a physical iPhone, as sometimes ads do not show up on Android Emulator or iOS Simulator.
