Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

About us Sales Tax compliance is hard. Yonda is on a mission to make Sales Tax compliance easy for e-commerce and digital service businesses. We like our customers to focus on their core business while we handle their tax in a touch-less, automated fashion. About the role As a senior engineer you’ll be responsible for architecting and implementing large scale data processing and automation technologies. If you’ve developed on large scale web applications, data integrations and workflow automation we’d love to hear from you. Your mission Design and implement robust enterprise grade integrations with third party e-commerce, payments and ERP platforms. Design and implement robust data pipelines so that data is usable within multiple business contexts. Work closely with the founders to help us design and develop our core technology architecture and products and deliver incrementally. Identify opportunities for automation and related tooling. Your profile Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field 5 years professional software engineering experience with Python Strong data design and processing skills Experienced in designing and integrating with third party APIs. Experience with cloud hosting environments (AWS). Experience with python web application frameworks such as Flask. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow. Where you'll be We are a hybrid distributed workforce. We’re happy to work with you remotely if you are close to a European time zone (No greater than GMT 3). We also have offices in London if you prefer to be on site.
