About us We are a pharma and cosmeceutical wholesaler and distribution company based in London W1, with an innovative product portfolio of outstanding at-home and professional aesthetic brands. We are looking for skilled and dynamic Shopify Developer to join our team, working within the Marketing Department, to manage and enhance our Shopify stores to ensure a seamless and engaging online shopping experience. The role is partly remote, so requires a proactive and independent self-starter, with excellent communication skills to join our welcoming, small but efficient team. This role requires a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, expertise in implementing Shopify apps, customising themes, and proficiency in HTML and CSS. Additional skills in Figma and Photoshop would be highly valued to support design and UX/UI initiatives. The role Shopify store management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Shopify stores Ensure the website is fully functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing. Monitor website performance and troubleshoot issues promptly. Shopify apps implementation: Identify, install, and configure Shopify apps to enhance store functionality. Integrate third-party apps and tools as needed to optimise business operations. Theme customisation: Customise and update Shopify themes to match brand guidelines and improve user experience. Implement changes to the storefront based on marketing and design requirements. Customise Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid to match brand guidelines and improve user interface. HTML and CSS: Utilise HTML and CSS to make necessary adjustments to the website layout and design. Ensure all code is clean, well-documented, and follows best practices. Design and UX/UI: Collaborate with the design team to create and implement visually appealing graphics and layouts. Use Figma to design wireframes and mockups for new pages and features. Edit and optimise images using Photoshop to ensure high-quality visuals. Optimisation and analytics: Conduct regular audits of the website to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Analyse site data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement. Implement SEO best practices to increase organic traffic. Collaboration and communication: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to align online store activities with business goals. Provide technical support and training to team members as needed. About you Proven experience managing and customising Shopify stores. Proficient in Shopify apps implementation and third-party integrations. Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS. Experience with Shopify themes and Liquid templating language. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Photoshop. Strong understanding of web design principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with JavaScript and other front-end technologies. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Familiarity with e-commerce analytics and reporting tools. Previous experience in a similar role within the e-commerce industry. This role is full time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. The role is a hybrid role with two days onsite in W1 and three days remote working. On occasion staff will be required to attend industry events and training.
