Group Product Manager

Job Title: Group Product Manager Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 base 30% of your salary in equity Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) Company Overview: Wedo is collaborating with a rapidly expanding, double unicorn payment technology company poised for a public offering. This B2C leader, with over 4 million customers, has recently secured £125 million in additional funding. As they gear up for their IPO, the company is scaling its tech and product teams by over 80 new hires and tripling their commerce operations. Role Overview: We are looking for a Group Product Manager to oversee two Product Managers within their B2C marketplaces platform. As the team expands, there is a clear path for you to be promoted to Head of Product, leading an additional product team. You will mentor Product Managers, ensuring they implement best practices, processes, and tools, while shaping the roadmap, vision, and strategy for the shop front. Experience Required: Proven experience in leading, coaching, and advising Product Managers. Background in B2C Retail FinTech, e-commerce, and/or marketplace environments. Familiarity with tap & pay or credit-based products will make you stand out. Experience as a Product Leader across multiple companies. Track record of scaling tech-driven products (not interested in candidates from non-tech product backgrounds, e.g., fashion retail where the product is clothes). Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams. Skilled in hypothesis development. Experience in taking a product from inception (0) to launch (1). Preferred Traits: Highly personable and sociable. Customer-focused and data-driven. Pragmatic in backlog management and reporting. Passionate about financial inclusion.
