Microsoft Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer GreenTech company Hybrid - 3 days per week in Central London £50,000 - £70,000 full benefits Company Description: We are working with an innovative company that specialises in Carbon Capture technology for the industrial sector. Their breakthrough technology has significantly reduced the costs and environmental impacts of Carbon Capture technology, making it a viable solution for reducing carbon output for a vast range of industries Key Responsibilities: Working with the Head of IT, you will be responsible for ownership of the business Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, and SharePoint. Monitor, configure, and maintain these systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. In this role, you will: Take ownership of the existing infrastructure and take a deep dive into the setup and look to change and optimise where required Integrate the Microsoft infrastructure with all other systems within the business such as HRIS, Accounting systems, CRM and Intranet Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 features and capabilities and provide recommendations to the business on how to leverage them Plan, coordinate, and execute system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and adherence to best practices. This includes overseeing the deployment of patches, updates, and service packs. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the Microsoft infrastructure. Recommend and implement solutions to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability. Key Requirements: Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Services including O365, D365, Azure Service, Azure APIs and Power Suite. Experience in translating business requirements into tangible technical milestones Experience in working in, and implementing, ISO27001 and other cybersecurity accreditation Take ownership of producing and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
