Senior API Developer (Contract) - £600 - £700 - Fully Remote Join Our Client’s Team in the Audio/Automotive Industry Our client, a leading player in the intersection of Audio and automotive technology, is seeking a Senior API Developer / Backend Engineer for an exciting contract role. This is your chance to contribute to innovative projects that enhance the in-car entertainment experience. Your Role: Cloud Architecture: Design and deploy a serverless backend system that powers cutting-edge music streaming and automotive applications. API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration of music services in vehicles, ensuring smooth updates with versioning. Security: Implement secure API connections using OAuth 2.0, meeting industry standards for data protection and reliability. Logging & Monitoring: Set up comprehensive systems to track API usage and performance, ensuring a high-quality user experience. Database Management: Manage distributed NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval, supporting high-volume music streaming. Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the music and automotive industries to ensure flawless integration and deployment. What You Need: 5 years of experience in backend development, focusing on RESTful APIs in serverless cloud environments. Expertise in OAuth 2.0 and secure API practices. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Technical certifications in public cloud systems are a plus.
