Software Engineer

Overview: Tiro Partners are looking for Software Engineers, to help prototype future cockpit and avionics designs, develop the Project X Active Cockpit simulator, and work closely with engineers from Project X. Salary - Up to £60,000 DOE Location: Warton OR Filton Responsibilities: Develop software for the Project X Active Cockpit simulator Own requirements, design, implementation, and testing Integrate COTS hardware/software and design technical solutions Produce technical documentation and manage technical risk Essential Skills: Strong C++ programming in Visual Studio Security Clearance required Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Linux, avionics, and mission systems Familiarity with Jira and simulation interoperability standards (HLA/DIS/Link16) Interest in military aircraft
