Job Summary: The Salesforce Project Manager in the Energy & Utilities sector is a dynamic leadership role that blends project management expertise with deep knowledge of the energy industry. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce solutions tailored to the unique needs of energy and utility companies. The role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives that drive business transformation. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the energy and utilities sector. Manages project scope, timeline, and budget to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery. Stakeholder Management: Engages with key stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure alignment with business needs. Team Coordination: Assembles and leads cross-functional project teams, including developers, business analysts, and consultants, ensuring that all team members are working cohesively towards project goals. Solution Design and Implementation: Oversees the design, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Works closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Risk and Issue Management: Identifies potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and implements mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Proactively resolves challenges to keep projects on track. Quality Assurance: Ensures that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to industry-specific compliance requirements. Coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) and provides training and support to end-users. Reporting and Documentation: Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, project plans, and post-implementation reviews. Communicates project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly. Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within project management practices and the use of Salesforce within the organization. Stays updated on the latest Salesforce features, industry trends, and best practices. Qualifications: Extensive experience in project management within the energy and utilities sector, with a strong focus on Salesforce implementations. Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex Salesforce projects from inception to completion. Deep understanding of the energy and utilities industry, including regulatory requirements, business processes, and market trends. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
