Business Analyst S4 Finance

Job Title: Business Analyst (S4 Finance Experience) Location: Windsor, UK Work Arrangement: Hybrid (One office visit per week to start) Assignment Duration: 6 Months Rate Payable to Contractors: £350 per day Number of Contractors Required: 1 Job Purpose: The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to analyze needs and translate them into actionable requirements and solutions, specifically in relation to Centrica's Tax vision, which encompasses Governance, Technology, Data, Process, and People. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and processes related to Centrica’s Direct and Indirect Tax regulations. Document requirements, process flows, and business processes. Serve as a strong process and functional consultant for UK Tax regulations. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, prioritize requirements, and ensure alignment with business goals. Collaborate with the Tax team and the wider DTS team to deliver solutions. Maintain engagement with the project team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that risks and issues are effectively managed. Work alongside a team of experts, including accreditors, subject matter experts, and IT specialists, to ensure that requirements are successfully delivered. Additional Responsibilities: Ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and reflected in user stories aligned with sprint goals. Key Skills/Knowledge: Extensive experience as a Business Analyst/Consultant in the finance sector, with a strong understanding of UK treasury and tax regulations. Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax, particularly within the utilities sector, is desirable. Experience with SAP products such as S/4 Hana, DRC, AFO, and Datasphere is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze information, summarize insights, and make informed recommendations. Experience Required: 7-9 years of relevant project management experience.
