Software Engineer

A market leading organisation within marine engineering is searching for a software engineer to join their small team and develop technologies that improve the energy efficiency of marine vessels. This role will see you working within a team of cloud, frontend and backend engineers who are focused on developing a scalable data platform that processes millions of incoming data points. The product is built using C# and is an event-driven Azure hosted data platform. Key Responsibilities Design and develop microservices components in C# Work with cloud architects, snr software engineers, data scientists and naval architects to develop the data platform Key experience Strong working knowledge of C# Any experience of Python is ideal, but NOT essential React or JavaScript Experience with either SQL Alchemy, Django or Entity Framework Azure Cloud/Azure DevOps The salary for this role is up to circa £65k benefits.
