Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a stealth mode startup, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and build the infrastructure that enables user connections and supports the transmission of external data to their fully decentralised exchange. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the innovative development of the first fully decentralized exchange with a central limit order book entirely on an EVM chain. You will report directly to the Senior Backend Engineer and focus on developing and maintaining systems that link web and mobile clients to blockchain data systems. Responsibilities: Develop code to instantiate production and test infrastructure components. Monitor infrastructure components for performance, addressing any failures or scalability challenges. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines. Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure infrastructure availability for all front-end and back-end application services. Requirements: 5 years of experience in a relevant role. Proven experience in configuring, deploying, and monitoring secure, scalable production backend systems on cloud infrastructure, including data pipeline tools, relational, in-memory, and time-series databases, notification systems, and virtualized components and systems. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure best practices, including automation, identity management, and security, with experience in creating and maintaining production-grade infrastructure. Experience leading cross-functional teams to launch products.
