About the role As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll be the wizard behind the scenes, crafting and implementing solutions that elevate our clients' e-commerce stores. You will play a critical role in turning ideas into tangible software features, ensuring their quality, and fostering a collaborative environment to deliver value to users and stakeholders. Along with our other Engineers, you will actively seek out new experiences and opportunities to learn and share best practices with each other, to improve the way we build our applications, and work together. The successful candidate will have experience of building web applications with a high focus on frontend execution and JS excellence. ✅ Responsibilities: Here's a sneak peek into your daily adventures: Development Excellence: Craft high-quality software solutions for e-commerce stores, based on validated user stories, with a strong focus on frontend execution and JavaScript excellence. Self-organise, own tasks end-to-end, provide accurate estimates, set timelines, report progress and surface risks early. Prioritise development tasks for on-time and on-budget delivery. Conduct thorough testing to guarantee software quality, adhering to defined acceptance criteria and technical standards. Uphold a culture that values quality over quantity. Practise continuous integration and delivery to ensure smooth and reliable code changes. Engage in code reviews, maintaining code quality and adhering to coding standards. Develop a deep understanding of the product and domain to make informed decisions during implementation. Constant Learning and Sharing: Constantly learn and share knowledge to enhance individual and team skills, improve CI/CD capabilities, and stay ahead in modern JavaScript frameworks (Vanilla, Vue, Svelte, React). Embrace adaptability and respond effectively to changes in requirements or priorities. True Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with members of a cross-functional team to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and to bring innovative solutions to life that will wow our Partners. Communicate transparently with team members, providing clear updates on progress and potential impediments. Keep documentation up-to-date and ensure smooth knowledge transfer within the team. Actively participate in identifying process improvements and implementing changes for better productivity. Foster a true partnership with team members and clients. Ensure client satisfaction by managing expectations and avoiding unexpected issues. Understand client expectations and manage them effectively. About you Ultimately, you will have 4 years in a similar role and will work seamlessly across the whole engineering department to identify and create best-in-class quality products in a timely manner that meets or exceeds the expectations of the client and your team. We're seeking individuals who: are team players with stellar communication skills. have 4 years of professional commercial experience, ideally from within an agency. value technical excellence and a collaborative approach. built e-commerce web apps before and can implement designs using modern web development practices, who’s code speaks volumes. have a strong interest in and passion for modern JavaScript frameworks (Vanilla, Vue, Svelte, React). actively seek new experiences and opportunities to learn and master their skills. have a keen eye for design and can deliver polished user interfaces that wow our clients. confident in Agile Software Development and have experience with CI/CD pipelines. can navigate fast-paced environments with ease. have experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools. have experience consuming data from REST APIs. understand modern software design patterns. have strong analytical skills and data literacy to navigate complex challenges. is self-organised, capable of taking ownership of tasks end-to-end, understanding the challenges of project management, and actively contribute to successful delivery. ⭐️ Expectations We're not just looking for an Engineer, we're on the hunt for someone who shares our DNA.
