Network Engineer

AWS Payments Transformation | Tier 1 UK Bank | up to £68,000 bonus on-call | Manchester or Edinburgh A Tier 1 Bank is seeking a Network Engineer to enhance their Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team as they complete the key elements of their AWS payments platform before its production launch later this year. The bank has been undergoing a complete payments transformation of which this project is a key component. In this role, you will oversee the code releases and deployments in a way that optimises the software development life cycle (SDLC). Once the platform is operational, the role will transition to managing it, ensuring it meets customer needs and maintaining reliability and resilience. Experience Strong AWS and Terraform Good experience with API gateway monitoring, ingress monitoring, external dependencies monitoring (on-prem) and performance monitoring Understanding of route tables, transit gateways, security groups, NACLs, firewalls EKS networking experience This is a permanent role with hybrid working based in either Manchester or Edinburgh
