Software Tester

Location: Edinburgh Hybrid: 3 days onsite Software Tester Responsibilities: Drive QA processes within the team using both manual testing and automation frameworks. Create, maintain, and deploy automated test suites for functional, system, and regression test cases, embedded within the delivery team. Promote a shift-left testing approach and foster a culture of quality ownership across the development team. Utilize pipelines in an Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps for the deployment of automation test suites. Key Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a software tester. Programming: Proficiency in Java/Kotlin or Objective C/Swift. Communication: Strong skills in communication, coordination, and prioritization to manage test processes and workload effectively. Mobile Testing: Confident in reviewing and implementing mobile automation tests using tools such as XCUITest or Android JUnit. Extensive experience in mobile application testing. Attention to Detail: An eye for detail and a keen interest in application design and user experience. Platform Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mobile platforms and accessibility options. Certification: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate with a solid understanding of formal test techniques.
