Head of Data Engineering

Position: Head of Data Engineering We are partnering with a leading global software development company to find a Head of Data Engineering to lead and enhance their Data Engineering team. As the Head of Data Engineering, you will be pivotal in architecting, developing, and overseeing the data infrastructure that supports our digital platform. This role demands robust technical skills in data engineering, AWS services, and financial data processing. You will lead a team of data engineers to ensure the seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of financial data into our analytics and decision-making systems. Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in creating a Data Lake or Data Platform/Ecosystem Experience in leading teams Practical knowledge of the Data Engineering stack (SQL/Python/Airflow/Spark) Strong skills in stakeholder and project management Proven ability to handle multiple projects efficiently Keen interest in Analytics and Data Science Location: London / hybrid 2 days a week in office Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 base
