Software Asset Manager - London Based - Hybrid working environment - Investment Bank I am hiring for an experienced IT professional. This person will be working as a Software Asset Manager. This is a brand new role sitting in the IT area of this bank. They will work very closely with Procurement though. This role is very hybrid with only 2 days a week in the office required and 3 from home. You will be joining a team of 3, so you will have the benefits of being in a relatively small team but in a large company. Key Responsibilities: You will be managing the end to end Software Lifecycle Managing the Software Governance, licensing, compliance and optimisation. Enforce Software Governance protocols and enable the business to follow SAM best practices You will be expected to have the ability to produce ELPs for various Generic Software Vendors Manage and maintain software Licence entitlements & contract compliancy. There may be some outside usual work hours and some weekends when software upgrade are happening Key Skills: The ability to be able to understand complex software licence contracts You will be expected to have experience with licensing virtualised environments The ability to support software deployment across multiple platforms IBM Oracle experience is desirable Banking skills is highly advantageous but please apply if you have experience in other industries too as the client is open to other industries You must be eligible to work full-time in the UK without sponsorship, if you are interested please apply or email me directly - sam.burksnicollcurtin.com
