Hybrid working from Manchester (Must be based in the UK | Up to £60k salary perks Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Ruby on Rails applications Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code Optimize application performance and scalability Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Stay up to date with the latest Ruby on Rails and web development technologies Requirements: Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) Familiarity with Docker Understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus Points: Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React) Contributions to open-source projects Experience with DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD) Next steps: For more info regarding the company and the exciting developments they have lined up, apply now and we’ll be in touch
