My client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their London team. You will be a self-starter, expected to lead on projects, and ideally come from a finance background. In this role you will be responsible for the development of in-house and third-party systems used to support and manage their trading business. You will be joining a small, diverse, and dynamic team with a start-up mindset and will have continuous exposure to and interaction with Trading, Risk and Research teams. Key Responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of technical products and projects focussing on increasing automation. Continuous exposure and daily interaction with the Portfolio Management / Trading Team. Supporting the integration of various tasks across the business, such as the development of in-house and third party systems Maintaining close contact with a wide variety of teams, including Risk, Research and trading. Taking a hands-on approach, embracing the opportunity to be creative when solving problems and developing products. A successful candidate will ideally come from the sell-side and have an in-depth and excellent understanding of Python or other languages such as C#, C++, Java, Ruby.
