About LinkDeal: LinkDeal is revolutionising LinkedIn automation for sales professionals and business developers. Our platform enhances networking, lead generation, and engagement through advanced AI-driven automation. We empower users to maximise the value of their LinkedIn connections by automatically identifying, qualifying, and interacting with potential leads. With a solid foundation and a growing user base, we are now looking for a visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to join us as a co-founder and lead the technical development of LinkDeal into its next phase. Role Overview: As the CTO of LinkDeal, you will be the technical backbone of our team, driving the evolution of our platform from its current MVP stage to a full-fledged solution capable of supporting thousands of users. This is an equity-only role, offering 17% equity vested over 2 years, with the potential for financial rewards as we generate revenue and secure funding. You will work closely with the founding team to re-architect our existing stack if necessary, develop new features, and ensure the scalability and security of our platform. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Strategy: Lead the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for LinkDeal, ensuring alignment with business goals. Re-architect existing systems if needed to support growth and scalability, using your expertise to decide on the best technologies and frameworks. Product Development: Oversee the complete development lifecycle, from coding to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of new features. Collaborate with external developers and the founding team to enhance and expand LinkDeal’s capabilities, focusing on the needs of B2B sales professionals. AI & Automation Integration: Drive the integration of AI and machine learning to refine our matching algorithm, automate engagement, and enhance user interactions with their LinkedIn network. Innovate and implement AI-driven features that align with our mission to automate and optimise LinkedIn networking. Scalability & Security: Build a scalable infrastructure that can support a growing user base across multiple regions, particularly the US and UK. Implement robust security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team to translate the business vision into technical specifications and deliverables. Provide mentorship and leadership to future technical hires as we scale the team. Required Skills & Attributes: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in full-stack development, with experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and APIs. Knowledge of Gemini and microservices architecture is a plus. Strong background in AI/ML, with the ability to integrate advanced algorithms into the platform. Architectural & Development Skills: Experience in re-architecting and scaling platforms to support significant growth. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and best practices for building secure, scalable systems. Entrepreneurial Mindset: A passion for building products from the ground up, with a strong problem-solving approach and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on. Comfortable working in a startup environment where uncertainty and change are part of the journey. Strategic & Collaborative: Ability to work closely with non-technical founders to translate business goals into actionable technical plans. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
