Senior Solution Architect

Senior Solution Architect La Fosse are partnered with a client in the leisure industry to recruit a Senior Solution Architect. The role will report directly to the CTO, helping to build out the function. The architecture practice here is immature, so this role will suit someone who's previously helped to build out functions, and worked closely with large engineering teams. This individual will get a significant amount of facetime with the SLT. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive solution architectures that meet business objectives and align with strategic goals. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and development teams, to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions. Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and methodologies to support the delivery of high-quality solutions. Lead the architecture and design of systems across various domains, including web, mobile, eCommerce, CRM, and cloud. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Continuously assess emerging technologies and trends, bringing innovative ideas to enhance digital capabilities. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing complex solutions in the leisure, travel, or related industries. Experience in the eCommerce industry would be highly desirable, with a deep understanding of online customer journeys, payment systems, and digital marketing integrations. Proficient in a broad range of technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and modern web frameworks. Strong understanding of data architecture, integration patterns, and security best practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to changing business needs. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week required in the client's HQ in Kent.
