Senior Engineering Manager (contract)

Senior Engineering Manager - Financial Services/Insurance - £900-£1000pd (Inside IR35) A Senior Software Engineering Manager is needed to work with a London Based FS/Insurance client. You will be looking after a team focused on financial/actuarial models so knowledge of this sector is advantageous. Otherwise, experience in highly regulated FS environments, with Insurance and knowedge or actuarial practices being highly advantageous. You will be managing a team of circa 10 engineers and ensuring they have technical direction and you are an effective bridge between the technical team and the business/actuaries. Current tech stack (please note this is a hands-off role, knowledge/awareness of the below is fine: Python, C#, R, Azure Cloud , Kubernetes, RAFM Experience/knowledge of the following: Working in highly regulated financial services environments Actuarial practices/Balance sheet breakdowns (very nice to have) SDLC governance Kubernetes (nice to have) Following best practice around change governance, security practives, design approval Azure Cloud Kubernetes (nice to have) This will be a one stage interview over MSTeams - please do apply if you are available.
