First Line IT Support Engineer 1st Line IT Support Engineer South Brent, Devon (3 days a week on-site) Up to £25,000 per year The Opportunity: My client are a managed service provider who are currently looking for a 1st Line IT Support Technician on a permanent basis. In this role you will be the first point of contact for their clients when they are experiencing difficulties with their technology. Working alongside your colleagues, you will need to resolve the issues in a timely manner, and where that is not feasible, escalate to your 2nd line colleagues. The successful candidate must be confident when dealing with customers over the phone, have a good technical knowledge of Windows and mobile platforms, and be motivated to learn. Skills and Experience: Act a first point of contact for the IT department via both phone and email. To accurately log and categorise support tickets and requests. Provide technical support and guidance to staff and end users for a wide range of software applications including in-house and administration software.
