Derivatives Analyst

InterQuest are supporting a Life Insurance company with the search for a Derivative Analyst to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure derivative operations comply with policy standards, while maintaining and updating the Derivative Risk Policy. Provide expertise on derivative risks and oversee the completion of daily derivative operations, ensuring alignment with market, regulatory deadlines, and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party providers, including Investment Managers, Brokers, and Custodians, to manage asset services activities, monitor collateral positions, and ensure sufficient liquidity for daily margin calls. Identify and address control weaknesses in the derivative operations model, recommending and implementing procedural changes to mitigate operational risks, while ensuring consistent application of standard processes across all tasks. Essential Skills/ Experience: Experience within a similar Derivatives role ideally from the Life Insurance or Asset Management sectors Experience of risk and controls with regards to OTC Derivatives
