Full Stack Developer

Job Description: Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join their team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining their platform leveraging your experience with their tech stack. This role requires a product-minded individual who is commercially aware and has the ability to pivot projects quickly as needed. You will work closely within the small high performing team to design, develop, and deploy robust applications at speed. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL. - Collaborate with the team to create and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Develop and implement APIs and services to support front-end and back-end functionalities. - Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and GPT-4 to integrate AI capabilities - Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Actively participate in agile development practices, including code reviews, sprint planning, and stand-ups. - Continuously improve and optimise the codebase and development processes. - Adapt to changing project requirements and pivot as necessary to meet business goals. Skills: - Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of projects (GitHub or similar). - Proficiency in TypeScript and React for front-end development. - Expertise in Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL for back-end development. - Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. - Startup experience and a track record of taking ownership and driving projects to completion. Additional Skills: - Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and GPT-4. - Background in developing AI-driven applications. - Experience with product management and commercial aspects of software development. - Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. This role requires that you must be a current resident of the UK (able to work onsite in London 4 days a week) and have the right to work in the UK without any restrictions at any time either now or in the future.
