Senior DSP Engineer

Senior DSP Engineer Cambridge, UK (Hybrid) IC Resources is seeking a Senior DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Engineer to join our client's team in Cambridge, UK. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of skilled multi-disciplinary engineers to develop and implement innovative DSP algorithms for next-generation smart devices. Primary Responsibilities: Create, implement, and optimize digital signal processing algorithms. Prototype and test ideas using high-level languages such as MATLAB and Python. Implement algorithms in C on resource-constrained systems. Contribute to the productization and scale-up of algorithm deployments into real-world devices. Maintain good documentation practices and clear communication. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently plan and execute work. Essential Experience: MSc in Computer Science, Digital Signal Processing or related. 4 years industry experience working with DSP algorithms and DSP software Strong knowledge of digital signal processing theory and techniques. Proficiency in coding with MATLAB and Python. Experience with algorithm implementation in C for embedded platforms. Excellent spoken and written English, with clear communication skills. Desired Experience: Doctorate in a relevant field. Experience in applied statistics, data science, or applied mathematics. Experience processing signals from real-world sensor systems in noisy environments. Familiarity with Arm Cortex MCUs.
