HW Interim Solutions are working with a Retail client to engage an experienced ERP Programme Manager on a 3-6 month contract to lead the critical discovery phase of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation. This role is pivotal in setting the foundation for a successful transformation project. As the EPR Programme Manager for the discovery phase, you will spearhead the initial assessment and planning stages of the Business Central ERP implementation. Your primary focus will be on understanding current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing a comprehensive roadmap for the implementation including resource planning, project governance and documentation, as well as commercial negotiations. Key Responsibilities Lead the discovery phase of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation programme Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems across retail operations Facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to gather requirements and understand pain points Identify potential challenges and opportunities for process improvement Develop a detailed project scope, timeline, and resource plan for the full implementation Create a comprehensive business case and ROI analysis for the project Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the implementation Prepare and present discovery phase findings and recommendations to senior management Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in managing discovery phases for large-scale ERP implementations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Strong understanding of retail business processes and operations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with change management principles This role will be delivered on a day rate outside IR35 or FTC Yorkshire based – hybrid working Looking to speak with candidates who are available within the coming weeks How to Apply: If you would like to apply for this position, please submit an up-to-date copy of your CV that supports the criteria set out above.
