IT Support Analyst

Prestigious opportunity within a worldwide technology function for an IT Support Analyst to be based at our site in Bentham, Lancashire. As part of a small team of 4, we are seeking a versatile IT Analyst to join our team. Taking a proactive approach, you will support our IT infrastructure, assist with ERP management, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT operations. Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you will be responsible for:- Providing first-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues through the in-house ServiceDesk application. Maintaining and updating IT documentation, including inventory of hardware and software assets. Performing regular backups and ensuring data integrity. Assisting in monitoring and troubleshooting system and network issues. Installing, configuring and maintaining software applications used by the company. Staying informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend protective measures. Office 365 Administration Assisting in the administration and maintenance of the company’s ERP systems (SyteLine and Cloudsuite). If you possess a combination of some of the following skills, then LETS TALK Previous experience in IT support and administration. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 administration. Some knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BAAN SyteLine , Cloudsuite) would be advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols. Familiar with virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V preferred). Understanding of ITIL practices and principles. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
