Data Scientist Salary: Up to £60,000 LONDON COMPANY PROFILE You will create and deliver complex analytics models, enhancing customer understanding and shaping future strategies. This role involves delivering data science projects with agile methodologies to improve customer experience, engagement, revenue, and business efficiencies. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Model Development : Develop and enhance customer behavior models, including churn, time series forecasts, and customer value assessments, under the data manager's guidance. Segmentation Improvement : Contribute to creating and refining segmentations for targeted marketing and customer description across the business. Model Deployment : Deploy models into production for use by other analytical teams. Behavioral Analytics : Deliver complex descriptive and predictive customer behavioral analytics. External Awareness : Maintain awareness of analytics trends in retail and competitor technologies to bring external insights to the organisation. Stakeholder Collaboration : Build relationships with stakeholders, translating their goals into data science products. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Programming and SQL Skills : Proficient in Python or R with strong SQL abilities. Analytical Expertise : Excellent analytical and statistical skills, with hands-on experience in predictive modeling, segmentation, and time series analysis. Cloud Platform Experience : Some experience with cloud-based analytical platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery. Commitment to Accuracy : Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and rigor in analysis. Data Governance and Quality : Empathetic towards the importance of data governance and maintaining high data quality. Curiosity and Commercial Insight : Curious about business problems, with the ability to maximize the value of data science through effective storytelling and visual support, and manage workloads using Jira/Confluence.
