Key Requirements: Strong understanding of IT systems and tools: Experience with tools like Red Hat, Kickstart, Ansible, Satellite, Azure, Intune, and KVM is essential. Deep knowledge of OT environments: Familiarity with OT protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC) and the unique requirements of these environments is crucial. Ability to bridge the gap: You'll need to effectively translate IT concepts and solutions to meet the specific needs of OT systems. Projects: Remote Backup Solution: Design, build, and deploy multiple Red Hat hosts across the country, leveraging automation tools to ensure efficient management and updates. Implement a file sync solution to streamline recovery processes. Data Insights Platform: Develop a platform to collect and analyze data from substations, providing valuable insights into operational performance. Privileged Access Workstation: Implement a centralized, secure environment for managing OT assets using Microsoft tools. Hardened Compute Platform: Build and deploy Red Hat hosts with KVM virtualization, ensuring a secure and reliable foundation for operational activities. Network Enhancements: Create a Network Management Center, implement an asset management solution, and evaluate network improvements to bolster security and resilience.
