Technical Lead Opportunity Eames Consulting are partnered with a leading Insurance firm. They are seeking an experienced .NET Technical Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will lead the development of innovative software solutions that support our business goals and enhance our customers' experience. As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in the architecture, design, and implementation of our .NET applications, providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers (team is currently sized at 4). Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of .NET developers, ensuring the quality and efficiency of code development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Provide technical guidance and direction on .NET best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve application performance and resolve issues. Work closely with project managers to plan, estimate, and deliver software projects on time and within budget. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in software development practices. Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development team. Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, utilizing advanced automation techniques and deployment strategies to streamline software delivery and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies. Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in the insurance industry. Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, and related .NET technologies. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React. Experience with database design and development using SQL Server or other relational databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing.
