Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) London £70,000 Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain resilient cloud infrastructures that are robust against security threats. Develop and evaluate cloud security solutions to protect systems, databases, and networks. Perform thorough assessments and provide actionable recommendations to ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls. Monitor security logs, analyze incidents, and perform vulnerability assessments to gain insights and proactively address threats. Contribute to the formulation of security policies, procedures, and standards tailored for cloud environments. Generate technical and managerial security reports for cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Implement and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of security breaches or data loss. Monitor the use of sensitive data, regulate access, and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data during transmission, storage, and processing. Review violations of security procedures, address issues with violators, and ensure procedures are consistently followed. Provide guidance and support to end users on network and security-related concerns. Required Qualifications: Educational Background: BSc/MSc in Information Security or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in Information Security with a proven focus on Cloud Security. Deep knowledge of AWS, including services like IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF, etc. Experience in DevSecOps methodologies and infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform is a plus. Expertise in container security is a plus. AWS Certified Security - Specialty (preferred or equivalent certifications)
