The role As Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing digital, IoT and cloud-based applications targeting a range of platforms and devices. You will develop applications that will allow users to interact with Blatchford mobility devices and the Blatchford cloud platform. These applications will either be customer facing apps or tools that help in development and testing during production. Key duties: Writing high quality, secure software that will perform at scale, easy to test and maintain. Supporting your peers by taking part in code reviews, helping each other to develop the best possible software solutions. Working across the full software development lifecycle which can involve requirements, architecture and design as well as supporting the setup and management of the formal development processes for a medical device. Working within a modern Devops environment you will follow the processes and workflows setup by the team, ensuring a secure and efficient development process is adhered to. What are we looking for? Key skills Proficient in ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET Core MVC framework Proficient in Umbraco Content Management System Understanding of REST API standards Familiarity with RDBMS systems (SQL Server) Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS or similar.
