Role: Senior QA Engineer Tech: Typescript, Playwright, Artillery, CI pipes, Dock/K8s, GIT Location: Hybrid – London once a month (involving a 2 hour lunch) Salary: £70,000 benefits Company: Trading / FX / Software This is such an exciting role and perfect timing for a true QA evangelist to step up and work with their front-end QA team. Here you’ll have the chance to bring about real change, transformation and make a name for yourself in doing so. They’re at an interesting stage in their Quality & Test journey. Things have not been perfect, they have lacked structure and it has occasionally been a fairly chaotic environment. Everyone is inspired to improve QA and refine processes, which brings about this brand new opening This is a wide open goal for somebody who can articulate great testing practices and take the lead. The buy in and support is there, leadership are aligned with the QA team and this individual will be primed for success with a clearly defined progression path laid out in front of them. You’ll have technical competency with Typescript and Playwright or similar Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes would be advantageous but not essential Experienced in frontend testing and have mentored juniors in this area Your communication and influencing skills are strong enough to encourage positive transformation in the right way You understand shift-left testing and can socialise modern approaches with a new team Proactive test planning and critical thinking comes naturally to you – as well as finding bugs Interview process 30 minute conversation with QA Manager (remote video) 60 minute technical session (remote video) 30 minute interview with QA, Engineering Manager and Product Owner (remote) If you're not a perfect match technically but have solid OOP and frontend testing experience, I'd still love to speak with you about this.
