Alchemy is partnering with an exciting and market leading global organisation based in Doha, Qatar who are seeking to hire a Solution Architect This role will be responsible for designing an IT solution architecture that satisfies business needs. In order to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery, activities include designing solution architecture blueprints for the assigned system, prioritising work programs, defining design and development standards, reviewing requirements—including non-functional requirements—creating solution architecture blueprints, and managing risks across projects and programs. The creation of a digital strategy for the Line of Business and the alignment of IT and business strategies to guarantee that everyone is on the same page when it comes to developing and putting into practice technical solutions for business challenges are other important functions of this role that drive innovation. Responsibilities: Charged with creating a creative and workable system's end-to-end technological solution in accordance with the LOB's goals and business strategy. Work together with solution architects from different line of business units to find solutions that complement one another and to adopt and standardise common tools and technologies throughout the company. Participate in the creation of the organization's architecture governance structures, procedures, and compliance initiatives. In charge of delivering deliverables, such as the solution architecture. Participate in and evaluate high-level design papers, technical architecture, interface specifications, and functional and non-functional requirements. In charge of identifying Microservices, defining APIs for the domains, and decomposing complicated application needs utilising functional decomposition and Domain Driven Design. Manage the creation of projects and check that all LOB and scrum teams' artefacts adhere to design and architecture standards. Ensure that business goals and objectives are in line with development teams' strategic guidance. Oversee a communication plan that informs stakeholders of the value and purpose of solution architecture. Arrange and carry out proof of concepts to show that innovative ideas, intricate solutions, and cutting-edge technology are feasible. Encourage innovation to make sure that solutions add value for both customers and the company. Coordinate with internal departments and IT teams as well as external third-party vendors to jointly develop and deploy reliable application interfaces and solutions. While addressing business requirements, make sure system designs are manageable, maintainable, scalable, resilient, sustainable, and economical. In charge of making sure that all application non-functional requirements are satisfied, that NFRs are thoroughly tested, and that corrective and preventive measures are implemented. Support the production readiness review process before releasing the application to production. Ensure that the quality assurance team has properly tested the items covered by the user approval certificate. Charged with correctly implementing pertinent technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices across projects, programs, and products. Foresee project problems and hazards before they arise, and collaborate with the team to find and apply fixes or mitigations with the appropriate parties. Oversee the root cause analysis of critical incidents that are reported in operational production systems and ensure that appropriate preventative measures are put in place to prevent recurrence. Requirements: A bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in business administration, engineering, computer applications, or commerce. At least three years of demonstrated expertise in domain-driven design and microservices architecture, together with seven or more years of software engineering experience. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including proficiency with Agile Development approaches such as SAFe, Kanban, Lean, and Scrum. Proficiency in Software Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Enterprise Integration techniques. Expertise in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Integration patterns, and software design and development. Product and Solution Design of large-scale applications. Production Support and Problem Solving for Large and Critical System Products. Capability to develop system roadmaps according to business objectives. Capacity to identify new and developing market trends in technology and comprehend how they relate to various departments. Needs to be capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to encourage cooperation among teammates. Capacity to guide a varied collection of project participants and stakeholders towards the accomplishment of a project's objectives. Outstanding organisational and interpersonal communication abilities.
